The Colors of Courage
May we learn to run with the wind and when our fears try to hold us back may we have the courage to continue forward.
The sails on a sailboat are let out at an angle, so when the wind pushes them, the keel of the boat is what keeps the boat moving forward instead of falling over. Courage is not the absence of fear, but moving forward despite it, and the depth of our faith is what keeps us from falling over.
This piece is called The Colors of Courage, it is meant to signify how we should never let fear dictate our lives and instead move forward with courage, joy and hope.
The colors in this piece are meant to signify the hope, joy and wonder that comes with stepping forward in courage. They help you tune out fear and replace it with steady self-assurance faith.
