I couldn’t see a way out,

Tripped up one too many times,

and there was no one else to blame

For all the fault was mine.

And as I sat there defeated

I saw a light coming from above,

God said my daughter, my child

the one whom I love.

~ He took our shame, failures, every bad thing we’ve ever done and all he ever asked us was to believe in his son.
