This painting is inspired by all the stories I’ve read both as a kid and as an adult. We are influenced by what we see, hear and read and little by little our mind twist what we know to create what we don’t. That is imagination by definition.

Poem
The books grow larger with time, as the pages glue themselves to the walls of our mind.
They give us the ability to create whatever we like whether it’s pink tweed trees, foxes that fly or flowers that whisper the thoughts of every passerby.
All that we think comes alive, share it with the world and they’ll call it fiction, for only the creator knows its reality with a slight bend.
After all, there’s a lot you can think of with a building full of stories that seems to never end.
A large part of this piece is thanks to libraries, a wonderful resource of information and a lovely place where one can take nonfiction and fiction and bend it to create a world entirely their own.
