Hi, I’m Faith—the artist, writer, and storyteller behind fkecreations. My world is made of gouache, colored pencils, and a deep love for the small, beautiful moments that make life feel magical.
My creative Journey
My love for art started at a young age. As a kid, I spent most of my time imagining far-off places, scribbling stories in the margins of my school papers (much to my teachers’ dismay), and doodling everything I saw. Creativity has always been a part of me—it was my way of exploring the world, both real and imagined.
In 2020, I received a HIMI gouache set for my birthday, and from the moment I dipped my brush into those vibrant colors, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve continued painting in gouache while experimenting with other mediums, always searching for new ways to bring my ideas to life.
By 2022, I decided it was time to share my art with the world. I launched my website and Instagram, creating a space where my work could exist beyond my sketchbooks. Inspired by the simple joys of life—nature, travel (both real and imagined), and the stories I’ve read or created—my art quickly took on a life of its own.
My style has been described as a burst of color, infused with themes of wonder, encouragement, and joy. I specialize in painting greeting cards, postcards, and art prints that bring comfort, nostalgia, and a sense of adventure to those who collect them. Each piece is a tiny story, a world of its own, waiting to be shared.

I was stuck trying to kickstart a new postcard collection and couldn’t come up with ideas — until I let myself focus on two of my favorite things: the ocean and sunsets. 🌅

Being able to paint freely in my sketchbook really took the pressure off — no need to make something for anyone else but me.

Sometimes, when we get overwhelmed, it’s because we’re putting too much pressure on ourselves to create something everyone will like. But honestly, the best ideas come when we just start creating and stop overthinking.
